No. Trust Score™ and organic ranking are earned from confirmed completed work. Paid options (if used) may improve profile presentation or visibility labels, but they never change how contractors are scored or ordered.
How does verification work?
Contractors submit business details through the application form. We review license and insurance information where applicable, plus core contact and service details. Verified status is shown on the profile once approved.
What is Trust Score™ based on?
Trust Score™ is a 0–100 rating that reflects outcomes across confirmed completed jobs. It prioritizes quality, reliability, communication, and recent performance — not ad spend or anonymous reviews.
Do you accept anonymous reviews?
No. Local Trade Registry focuses on reviews tied to confirmed completed work. This reduces spam, fake reviews, and score manipulation.
How should homeowners use the registry?
Shortlist a few contractors in your trade and area, confirm scope and timelines in writing, and request proof of insurance if needed. Trust Score™ helps you compare consistency — but you should still choose the contractor that fits your project.
How do contractors improve their Trust Score™?
Focus on consistency: clear communication, reliable scheduling, clean job closeout, and following through on commitments. Over time, strong outcomes across confirmed jobs increase Trust Score™ naturally.
